This was part of 500 bags of mail discovered on the olf Liberty Ship "John Bidwell". Violet h/s read "CORRESPONDENICA RATARDADA/Y RECUPERDADA DEL S/S/"JOHN BIDWELL/1945-1960/CORREOS DE CHILE". The mail bags contained mostly newspapers.
