Cover #65461. Nova Scotia. Dated 1864/09/02. Halifax grid ties 10c Victoria (#12) on fls (w/o content) to Baltimore via Boston. The Cunard steamer Europa sailed from Liverpool on August 20, arriving in Halifax on August 31st. The letter was put on board as a loose letter. The Europa arrived in Boston on Sept. 2nd. The letter was then carried from Boston to Baltimore overland in a closed bag.
