Russia. Dated 1918/12(?). AEF Siberia soldier's post card from Archangel, Russia to A.P.O. 711 in France. Violet oval censor marking at bottom, censor signature over hand stamp. Partial London transit at top (British ships carried mail from Archangel during the last months of 1918). The 339th infantry regiment arrived in Archangel on 4 Sept. 1918. Since this is a Christmas card it is probably a Nov-Dec. 1918 usage.

United States. CA. Pacific Grove, CA. Monterey Co. (open 1886+). Dated 1919/05/08. U.S. POSTAL AGENCY SIBERIA duplex "1" cds on Soldier's Mail cover to Pacific Grove, CA. Violet framed "A.E.F. SIBERIA CENSORED" hand stamp at bottom with ms censor signature. Enclosures are a hand written letter to mother on printed letterhead and a real photo post card showing group of medical officers. Each officer is identified by name and rank on the reverse of the card.
