United States. IL. Chicago World's Fair Station, IL. Cook Co. (open 1893). Dated 1893/07/07. Two Chicago ovals tie two 2c (#210) on a 10c registered entire (#U351) to Germany. The entire has been reduced at left and bottom and is open on two sides. It seems to all postal markings are present. There are two strikes (very uncommon) of the "REGISTERED/JUL 7, 1893/World's Fair Station,CHICAGO, ILL. handstamp (Bomar C93-04). There is a blue Chicago received h/s on the back. The cover went through New York where an exchange registry label was applied. Once in Germany the cover was forwarded.
