Red 22 June Marseille entry cds & black Paris-Calais railroad transit (on reverse). Partial "Br. Service" routing hand stamp over Marseille cds. Carried trans-atlantic by ship Asia departing Liverpool 25 June, arriving New York 7 July. 7 July NEW YORK 27 (cents to collect Fr. Mail/qtr. oz) cds under 3c stamp. The cover arrived in Warrenton where a July 11th green cds was applied to a Scott 26 to pay the forwarding to Jamaica Plain, MA. Ms "Ford 3" at upper left.
