The entire has been reduced at left and bottom and is open on two sides. It seems to all postal markings are present. There are two strikes (very uncommon) of the "REGISTERED/JUL 7, 1893/World's Fair Station,CHICAGO, ILL. handstamp (Bomar C93-04). There is a blue Chicago received h/s on the back. The cover went through New York where an exchange registry label was applied. Once in Germany the cover was forwarded.

"T" in oval & 6 Nov. New York DUE 10 CENTS hand stamps. The charge of 5c postage due + 5c penalty was paid using Scott J26 tied by Nov. 8 Englewood cds which is repeated on the reverese .
